GuiXT Mobile is a software for displaying SAP R/3 dynpros on a mobile devices. Most likely it is comparable to SAP Console, which actually is quite common for connecting scanners to SAP R/3. However, unlike SAP Console with GuiXT Mobile the dynpro is displayed directly on the mobile appliance. So you can work online in SAP R/3, as usually, provided that a connection with WLAN or GPRS exists.

After the installation on the mobile device there is a application available comparable to SAPGUI. You can define connections (logons) to several SAP systems and also individual profiles, such as to enable an automatic logon of the device at start up.

Using the features of configuration of GuiXT, the logon to a SAP system can be arranged very simple, for example a default-logon can be defined. So you achieve that with starting GuiXT Mobile a connection to this default system will be built without input of any further user data. Thus, together with a profile the logon procedure can be much easier. The various options within a profile allow an individual definition, considering your requirements for security.
